Having grown up in LA, reality star-turned-fashion designer Whitney Port of Whitney Eve knows her way around the city. During last week’s #WestfieldFashBash at Westfield Century City, we chatted with the designer about all her favorite LA haunts. See her top picks, below.

For a quick lunch: Café Vida
Port loves their fresh salads. The barbecue chicken salad is her favorite.
For a dose of comfort food: Reddi Chick
“I just grew up on it,” she says of the restaurant’s chicken basket. “It’s the best rotisserie chicken.”
For a romantic date night: Superba “The atmosphere is really cool and nice,” says Port. “They have really great food that [my fiancé and I] love to split.” Her favorite sides include the fried cauliflower and the avocado toast.
For a girls night out: Chateau Marmont or Sunset Tower
“I only really go to those places when my best friend from New York is in town,” she says. “We just love to be able to sit outside, dine, drink wine, and chat.”
For a shopping spree: Satine and Creatures of Comfort
“Satine always has the coolest selection of great designers,” says Port. “They just have a really good eye. Creatures of Comfort has the best comfortable loungewear that you can actually wear out and dress up.”
For finding vintage treasures: Shareen
“Shareen just has like a million dresses and it’s all divided by decade,” she explains. “It’s a really cool place to shop.”
For a splurge: Barneys
“It has everything,” says Port. “It’s the best place to see the newest trends and the newest of all the better designers.”
For a workout: YAS and Flywheel
“YAS is a spin and yoga studio,” she says. “It’s a really good mix of both. You can spin and have cardio, then stretch out with yoga. Flywheel is the best spin studio because it actually tracks your stats so you can see how hard you’re really working and what you’re burning.”

For a mani/pedi: Nail Spa Lane
“They just take really good care of you,” she says.
For beauty goodies: Number One Beauty Supply
“They have everything you could ever want,” she says. “You can spend hours in there.”
For the best Thai massage: Raven Spa
“It’s really deep pressure and a lot of stretching as well,” says Port.
For a sweet scent: Le Labo
“Le Labo is a perfumery and they have really fresh [non-overpowering scents],” Port explains. “You can make your own labels. So if you want to give [it to someone as a] gift you can write certain things and they will print it out right there for you.”
For a facial: Alexander’s
Her tip: ask for Nicole Hirschman. “She takes really good care of my skin,” Port says.
For a cut and color: Ramirez Tran Salon
“Johnny Ramirez does my color and Anh Co Tran does my cuts,” she says.
For a quiet beach trip: Marina del Rey “It’s a beautiful beach and not a lot of people go there, so it’s like an untapped beach,” Port advises.
For a juice: Juice Served Here, Beverly Hills Juice, and Pressed Juicery
“I love Juice Served Here’s drink called the Cream Party,” she says. “It’s just a really great coconut juice. Beverly Hills Juice has a smoothie called the Banana Nut and you can mix any juice with it, like banana nut ice cream mixture, and it makes really good smoothies. Pressed Juicery has great juices all around. I get a juice a day.”
For the perfect LA day: Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Cafe 50's
Port’s idea of the perfect LA day kicks off with a workout followed by a stop at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Then, she enjoys a brunch date with her fiancé at Café 50’s and hits the beach. To end the day, she pours herself a glass of wine and acts as her fiancé’s sous chef while he whips up dinner at home.
