6 Food and Drink Festivals You Need to Attend This Fall

From the freshest seafood to the smoothest whiskies, and everything in between, these are the six food and drink festivals to catch this Fall around LA.
Instantly be transported to the streets of Spain at this festival celebrating the best Paella, sangria, and tapas in the region. Attendees can look on as 60 teams compete to cook the best Paella, while dancing along to live Flamenco and Spanish rock music. While you're there, be sure to get a taste of the festival’s unique and extensive selections of sangria and craft beer. This event takes place on October 7. Pershing Square, 535 S. Olive St.
In honor of National Seafood Month, the Off the Hook Seafood Festival will be returning to Santa Monica Pier for the third year in a row. The event, which benefits the Surfrider Foundation of West LA-Malibu, will feature seafood tastings from participating restaurants such as Herringbone and Del Frisco’s Grille, live music, games, and their annual Oyster Shucking Competition. Grab your friends and head to the Burbank Beer Festival for cold brews, live music, and tons of fun. The festival, which benefits the Downtown Burbank Partnership and the Gen Giammanco Foundation, will showcase over 85 craft beers from companies such as Baja Brewing Co., Goose Island, and Angel City Brewery. Additionally, the Fall Street Fair will be lining the streets of Downtown Burbank for all to enjoy. This event takes place on October 21 from 12-7 p.m. Downtown Burbank
Featuring over 35 food and beverage vendors, the fourth annual EastSide Food Festival aims to showcase the best of the best, as well as emerging talent, from the city’s food scene. With demonstrations, discussion panels, live music, book signings, and more, this festival is a foodie’s paradise. This event takes place on October 22. Mack Sennett Studios, 1215 Bates Ave.
Finally, a festival dedicated to our favorite pair—pizza and beer! Tickets will include unlimited pizza tastings from participating restaurants, food trucks, and vendors as well as unlimited 3 oz. pours from local and regional breweries, ciders houses, and more. In between your food and drink, attendees can shop at boutique vendors, play lawn games, indulge in hand rolled cigars, and dance along to music from the event’s DJ. Perfect for the whisky connoisseur in your life, this event aims to foster a greater appreciation for the celebrated liquor. Featuring whiskies from around the world, the Whisky Extravaganza offers a variety of activities such as a tasting session, culinary pairings, and masterclasses curated by industry experts to help attendees learn about whisky distilling, flavor profiles, and more.
