Nomade leather Cabas tote with V logo in Tobacco ($4,550) and binocular case ($3,900).
Louis Vuitton’s heritage as a luggage designer is front of mind this spring at the French fashion house. The label’s new menswear designer, Kim Jones, used Vuitton’s rich and storied archives to create a just-launched collection of travel gear and leather goods with Nomade leather—a buttery-soft skin—in shades of olive green, burgundy, and tobacco. Although the line offers everything from weekenders and briefcases to binocular cases, the highlight is undoubtedly the Cabas tote featuring a rediscovered Louis Vuitton logo (pictured). Jones found the Deco-inspired insignia on an early-1920s trunk while rummaging in the 100-year-old archives. The label made an extremely exclusive run of the tote: Only six will be sold in the United States, one of which is at the Rodeo Drive boutique. Perfect for the modern Angeleno on the go, this head-turning accessory can transition from a morning gym session at Equinox to a power lunch at The Polo Lounge. 295 N.
