Featuring all the components of a glamorous table setting, including glassware, placemats, serving trays, candleholders, and utensils, the collection debuted just in time for the holidays—and with its pops of silver, crystals, pearls, and signature Vanderpump pink, it could be the only decoration you need this season.
We sat down with Lisa (and a glass of her delicious LVP Sangria!) to find out how she tackles hosting holiday parties.
1. Lisa always has multiple drink options.
Over the course of the evening, Lisa’s LVP pink and red sangrias were making the rounds, and she offered several creative yet easy recipe ideas for the holiday party season.
Pink Cocktail: “Just add St. Germain and Champagne to the pink sangria.”
Red Cocktail: “I love red drinks at the holidays. It looks festive, especially with my diamond glasses. You put the red sangria with some fruit, and you’re good to go.”
Mulled wine: “Warm the red sangria slowly and add cloves.”
Vodka cocktail, from Lisa’s daughter Pandora: “Freeze it into ice cubes and drop it into a vodka soda.”
2. Lisa sticks to her roots…
When Lisa’s kids come home for the holidays, she serves up English favorites. “I really go for those English roast dinners,” she says. “Roast chicken stuffed with lemon, garlic, maybe thyme… roast potatoes, parmesan cheese parsnips, red cabbage with cinnamon, or green cabbage with bacon.”
3. …but she loves Thanksgiving!
“Thanksgiving, obviously, we don’t have in England, and I do like the fact that it’s a holiday without gifts involved, because it takes the pressure off,” she explains. “People just get together and celebrate their love for one another.”
4. Lisa gets creative (and boozy) with hostess gifts.
Last year, she purchased a faux fur blanket and wrapped it around a bottle of LVP Sangria: “I wrote in the card—‘cuddle up and get drunk!’”
5. Lisa goes all-out for Christmas decorating…
When it comes to making her home look festive, Lisa does not skimp. For her Beverly Hills home, her main Christmas tree is done in a palette of platinum, silver, bronze, and pink. Her second Christmas tree (yep, she has two) is decorated in platinum, baby blue, and baby pink.
6. …but within the confines of TSA regulations
“Why don’t they do the crackers here? I don’t understand that,” Lisa says, referring to the traditional English party favors that explode to reveal paper crowns and other toys. “I was in Harrods just a few weeks ago to look for the crackers, but you can’t take them on the plane because they have the explosives in them.”
