Louis Vuitton Time Capsule Exhibition Los Angeles
On Friday, May 18thLouis Vuitton will present Time Capsule, a journey through the history of Louis Vuitton that revisits its landmark innovations in technology and design. Traveling from the fashion house’s beginnings in 1854 to the present day, the story is told using rare and celebrated objects selected from the Louis Vuitton archive. Time Capsule demonstrates the ways in which Louis Vuitton has anticipated the needs and desires of a changing world over 160 years. As advances in transport have accelerated our movement around the world, so too has Louis Vuitton continued to address new challenges faced by travelers with imaginative and ingenious creations. Seven Deadly Plays' 10 year finale - Cult of Love
May 24 – June 24, IAMA concludes its 10th anniversary with a full production of the final installment in Leslye Headland’s “Seven Deadly Plays” cycle with the premiere of Cult of Love — a black comedy that explores the final sin of “pride” through one family's feverish clash over who is right and who is crazy. The Dahl family gathers to celebrate Christmas in their rural Connecticut home. Raised as strict Christians and overachievers, the four adult children (along with their partners) have grown into varying degrees of belief and success. Their initially joyful reunion quickly reveals an American family riddled with competition, xenophobia and mental illness. Moments Pétillants Sparkling Moments-The French Art of Champagne since 1830
On June 7-15, celebrate the savoir faire of Christofle with Moments Pétillants, an exhibition highlighting the best of Christofle’s 188 year history with champagne in partnership with famed champagne house, Billecart Salmon.
Champagne has long been synonymous with celebrations both grand and intimate, and since 1830, Christofle has mastered the art of producing unique and special creations to enjoy the French sparkling wine. As production techniques improved in the 19th century and the modern champagne industry took form, Christofle responded to the quickly growing need with a unique selection of accessories made specifically for the special beverage.
