This winter, high-profile Angelenos will walk home with treasure troves of freebies, thanks to marketing guru Rachael Honowitz. Next up? ESSENCE magazine’s 8th Annual Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon on Thursday, February 19.
For brands old and new, LA’s awards season is the golden hour for any and all product placement. Helping these companies get their goodies in the manicured hands of Hollywood A-listers is New York native Rachael Honowitz, who coordinates with prospective contributors for red-carpet events such as the SAG Awards Gala, and Golden Globes and Grammy award gifting at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles.
Up next on Honowitz’s glitzy itinerary is ESSENCE magazine’s 8th Annual Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon, which will honor Orange Is the New Black’s Adrienne C. Moore, Danielle Brooks, Laverne Cox, Lorraine Toussaint, Samira Wiley, Uzo Aduba, and Vicky Jeudy, as well as actress/director Regina King, actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Oscar-nominated costume designer Ruth E. Carter.
With the luncheon quickly approaching, Honowitz has been hard at work stocking her famous gift bags with luxury fare for celebrity guests. Treasures will include Herve Leger perfume, L’OREAL cosmetics, Lulu DK tattoos, Scott Sharp scarves, and much more. With approximately 375 bags in total to be handed directly to VIPs, the goodies could be on their way to the must-have list, photographed by paparazzi on our favorite celebrities, or better yet, shared on an A-lister’s personal Twitter or Instagram feed. It’s a foolproof way to turn heads, and Honowitz aims to deliver.
