Cliff’s Edge Restaurant brings the taste of Tuscany to Silverlake. For the month of August the Mediterranean bistro offers a seasonal Tuscan menu full of authentic fare. Chef Hugues Quintard (formerly of The Beverly Hills Polo Lounge, Café des Artists and the Beverly Hills Country Club) treats diners to appetizers such as a salumi platter of mortadella, salami, prosciutto and coppa, and pappa al pomodoro, a traditional Tuscan soup of fresh tomatoes, bread, basil and arugula oil. Entrees range from wild boar rigatoni to meatballs with porcini and pecorino served with fresh spaghetti to lamb shank with fagioli. Delicious. 3626 Sunset Blvd., Silverlake, 323-666-6116
