New York-based fashion photographer Terry Richardson is getting back to his LA roots. Born and raised in Hollywood, Richardson is exhibiting his take on Tinseltown through a series of 25 images entitled “Terrywood” and being shown at OHWOW Gallery through March 31. The exhibit is Richardson’s first in eight years.
Known for his illustrious, and somewhat controversial, portfolio of provocative campaigns for brands like Marc Jacobs, Equinox, and Eleven Paris, Richardson also counts Lady Gaga, Carine Roitfeld, and Kate Moss as frequent collaborators. A further representation of his raw, risqué aesthete, “Terrywood” reflects Hollywood for all of its celebrities, broken dreams, kitsch, and sordid history. 937 N. La Cienga Blvd., LA
