On December 5, the fashion set and celebrities alike gathered on Rodeo Drive to pay tribute to Italian jeweler Bulgari with an awards ceremony that officially inducted the brand into the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style. Drew Barrymore presented the award to vice chairman Nicola Bulgari, who also received a bronze plaque to be set into the sidewalk featuring his quote: "Style is an everlasting impression and jewelry is a passion that is passed through generations." Rodeo Drive recognized Bulgari for the brand’s influence on red carpets throughout awards season, as well as contributions to films like Mission Impossible II, The Holiday, Iron Man, and To Rome With Love, among many others.
Celebrity trendsetters like Kate Walsh, Cat Deeley, Lydia Hearst, Christa B. Allen, Brad Goreski, and more joined Bulgari in celebrating the honor at the Rodeo Drive store, which was cloaked in black with Bulgari pieces on display for the event. Bulgari is the 20th recipient of the award, which is selected by a committee of media and fashion tastemakers, and joins past honorees like Giorgio Armani, Valentino Garavani, Manolo Blahnik, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Tom Ford, among many others.
