In celebration of LA Fashion Week, Los Angeles Confidential, in partnership with BOXeight studios and Gen Art, showcased some of the city’s finest designers through a series of highly anticipated fashion events from Downtown LA to Hollywood.

The vision of artist and founder Peter Gurnz and partners Azzurro Mallin and Michael Utsinger, BOXeight is an arts organization dedicated to the rejuvenation of a Downtown arts community. As the host of the Fashion: Refocus event, BOXeight welcomed several of LA’s most exciting photographers, designers, stylists and models to participate in three days of live photo shoots. Audiences were invited to experience these firsthand at the organization’s 12,000-square-foot studio and gallery.

At the Los Angeles Alumni Fashion Celebration, Gen Art—an organization that was dedicated to showcasing emerging fashion designers, filmmakers, musicians and visual artists—honored 17 local designers who were promoted through the Gen Art design platform over the past decade.
