FROM THE TOP
I have been cultivating the concept of Mannin for most of my life. I’ve always been an avid collector, and I bring this instinct into my work today. I can best be described as a curator and an artist; my goal is not only to create jewelry that transcends time, but also to create a context in which my work will be displayed.
THE TEST OF TIME
Through my work I intend to sustain history, culture and the environment, as well as create innovative design suffused with meaning and substance. Much of my work is inspired by and incorporates antiques and artifacts that have already withstood the test of time. My objective is to create modern heirlooms with lasting appeal and quality.

CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT
My subscription to The World of Interiors; my favorite lipstick, Shu Uemura 906; my Mannin rose-gold monogram cuff bracelet; my Oliver Peoples sunglasses and my 1920s deep-set porcelain bathtub

SOCAL SIZZLES BECAUSE…
LA has an entrepreneurial spirit I adore, and there’s the ocean light and the coastline—the relaxed and elegant lifestyle. I have an interesting mix of friends, from designers, fi lmmakers and writers to high school teachers and yoga instructors. Most people I know came here to create a niche and lifestyle for themselves, which is a truly fabulous aspect of Southern California.
