As usual, this year’s festival came packed with celeb power, so we narrowed down the field to bring you eight of the most promising personalities from Park City.

Emmy Rossum

After being named “one to watch” by Variety in 2000 when she was just 13 years old, Emmy Rossum’s star has continued to rise. The brunette stunner has had roles in blockbuster films, including Mystic River, Poseidon, and The Day After Tomorrow; she earned a Golden Globe nomination for Phantom of the Opera; and she’s even put out a pop album. Rossum was at Sundance promoting Dare, a high school drama in which she plays an overachiever longing to shed her good-girl identity. It seems this Columbia University student is determined to make good on Variety’s prediction. Cashmere sweater by Ralph Lauren Blue Label. Pierce Brosnan

We never know what to expect from the charismatic Pierce Brosnan. One day, he’s a suave spy, the next he’s belting out ABBA numbers with unabashed gusto. In The Greatest, Brosnan plays a father forced to cope with the sudden loss of his beloved son. Brosnan’s standout performance in this heart-wrenching drama was the talk of the fest, leading critics to speculate this might be his greatest performance yet. T-shirt by Kenneth Cole New York.
