Voted “sexiest twins” by People magazine, the Bryans have amassed a serious following and are credited with keeping doubles popular enough to stay on the ATP tour, after it almost dropped off a few years back. Born and raised in LA and having attended Stanford, these 30-year-old bros are a true California dream team.

Mireille Has Two Faces

What a lovely young woman Mireille Enos is. The Mormon-raised Texas native—daughter of an American father and a French mother—has become one of the most popular characters on Big Love. No wonder Joey wants to take her character, Kathy, as a second wife.

In season three Enos gets to live out every actor’s dream: The writers have introduced Kathy’s twin sister, Jodene, to the storyline, which has the wildly talented actress pulling double-duty. Playing these twins would intimidate any thespian, but Enos is up to the challenge. She has a long list of prominent TV guest spots, and was nominated for a Tony Award in 2005 for her work in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

Perhaps they’ll add a triplet next season. We’ll take all of her we can get!

Son Rise

It’s confusing being the eldest son of a polygamist father whose third wife is far closer to your age than his. Just ask Ben Henrickson, played by gifted Toronto transplant Douglas Smith, who’s caught between his burning yearnings and his desire to take after Dad. Smith has proven himself to be a terrific talent since day one, giving the character a great sense of authenticity. No surprise—he’s been on the job since he was eight years old. As a
kid he appeared in commercials for Rattlin’ Wrestlers and the Sesame Workshop show Out

There, filmed in Australia. He guested on CSI, Cold Case, and The X Files, and has done his fair share of indies: Citizen Duane, The Beautiful Ordinary, and Rock the Paint. (We also have to mention his starring role in the best-named holiday horror film of all time, Santa’s Slay.)

Expect more great things from the towering, curly-mopped Smith, who has screenwriting
and directing aspirations as well as a band, called His Orchestra.
