Continuing its tradition of celebrating the behind-the-scenes talent responsible for the best in film and TV, Hamilton watch brand and Los Angeles Confidential hosted the 5th annual Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards at the Conga Room Downtown LA, drawing such Hollywood heavyweights as Academy Award-winner Christoph Waltz, Antonio Banderas (accompanied by his beautiful wife, Melanie Griffith), and überdirector Michael Bay to present awards. Banderas attended the evening’s celebration to help honor fellow Spaniard, producer Agustín Almodóvar. “He is a dear friend,” said Banderas. “And I love that he got recognition in the city of movies.”

Before Hamilton CEO Sylvain Dolla kicked off the presentation, esteemed actors Jon Hamm and The Help star Viola Davis mingled, chatting with honorees Janie Bryant and Mark Ricker. Meanwhile, a dapper Harrison Ford caught up with his Cowboys and Aliens director Jon Favreau. Of honoring Vic Armstrong, Ford’s longtime stunt choreographer, with a lifetime-achievement award, he said, “Vic Armstrong was my stunt double from Indiana Jones and a lot of other films. We’ve been great friends for 30 years, so I’m really glad to be here for him.”

Later, the festivities shifted to the stage, where actor Isaiah Mustafa garnered laughs while hosting the awards presentation that also brought out Robert Pattinson and legendary producer J.J. Abrams to honor those whose exceptional off-screen work stood out this year in television and motion pictures such as Mad Men, Carnage, Super 8, and The Tree of Life. Each award recipient gave touching speeches about their colleagues and love for their work, thanking Hamilton—a longtime supporter of cinema—for recognizing them.
