Do you have a favorite outdoor spot in LA? Topanga State Park. It’s closer than you think—just 23 minutes from Santa Monica.

Is there a gadget you must always have with you? My BlackBerry. I’m always in communication with people. I also jot down notes in it all the time.

What products are currently on your bathroom shelf? Dr. Bronner’s Pure-Castile soap, raw coconut oil and Tom’s of Maine toothpaste.

Who is your go-to eco-friendly clothing designer?  Used clothes from vintage shops or thrift stores. Go used—it saves energy, there’s less production, and you can find rare things no one else has!

What books are you currently reading? Where Men Win Glory: The Odyssey of Pat Tillman and The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom (A Toltec Wisdom Book).

What is your preferred method of transportation? A Prius and a bike.

If someone gave you $10,000 how would you spend it? I’d take my girlfriend to South America.

Where is your ideal vacation destination? Argentina.

What are you currently listening to on your iPod? A band from LA called Dawes and a singer/songwriter from Denver named Zach Heckendorf.

What green charities do you support? Reverb, TreePeople, 1% for the Planet and Tuolumne River Trust.

What is your necessary extravagance? Dark chocolate and California wine.

What is the greenest thing you do every day? I eat local, organic, vegetarian food.

What is your favorite LA farmers’ market? Santa Monica Farmers’ Market on Wednesdays at 2nd Street and Arizona.

What is your favorite place in LA to dine? Besides my home or my girlfriend’s house, I love to eat at Real Food Daily.
