Los Angeles comes alive during Emmy week. From emerging labels to the hallowed boutiques of Beverly Hills (think Chanel, Domenico Vacca, Prada, Fendi, Guess and Omega), this town is buzzing with stylists and tastemakers as they get Hollywood’s shining talent redcarpet ready. We congratulate our cover star, the always-glamorous supermodel Heidi Klum, for her well-deserved Emmy nomination as the host of Project Runway (which we are excited to say will take place in LA for the first time this season). It’s clear to us this soon-to-be mother of four is deserving of this award and many more as she opens up to us in this issue.

The hot summer weeks did not stop us from celebrating and supporting our close friends. It was our pleasure to introduce Suunto watches’ new luxury Elementum collection at an event cohosted by our contributor John Salley, who had just returned from his admirable stint in Costa Rica as a contestant on NBC’s hit series I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.

And on a new-neighbor note, we’d like to extend a warm welcome to our friends at Montblanc, who just arrived on Rodeo Drive. We can’t wait to hear success stories from this legendary brand with a great new address.

Having enjoyed the summer in true LA style, we are refreshed, energized and ready for fall.
