Turning The Page
We are so proud of each glossy page that makes up one of the most stellar issues Los Angeles
Confidential has ever printed. I am thrilled to be back in Los Angeles after working with our Vegas titles and am honored to assume the role of group publisher as I lead our team toward producing a publication highlighting the local flavor and accomplishments of our city. We are excited to announce Niche Media founder and CEO Jason Binn as our new editorial director. Los Angeles Confidential was his brainchild years ago, and now he’s determined to make our issues even stronger and more relevant to the city we live in and love. We would also like to introduce our new Los Angeles team of editor in chief Sari Tuschman and deputy editor Lesley McKenzie, as well as managing editor Kelly Barbieri.
A heartfelt thanks also goes to our wonderful contributors who have been with us since Los Angeles Confidential’s inception. And we’d like to welcome a host of new voices from the community who are sharing their thoughts with us in this issue. It’s the meeting of these great minds that makes Los Angeles Confidential one of a kind.
We continue to dedicate ourselves to our community and do everything we can to promote our friends and partners. Congratulations to CineVegas for hosting the wonderful private dinner at Dennis Hopper’s home to launch the festival. This season, we are proud to support our philanthropic friends, such as the Nancy Davis Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis, the 16th annual Race to Erase MS Gala in May, and the Step Up Women’s Network and its upcoming Inspiration Awards in June. It is so motivating to see charities forge ahead to support such passionate causes. We are also honored to support the Rally for Kids with Cancer Scavenger Cup on May 1 and 2, which benefits the Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and Padres Contra El Cáncer. We look forward to seeing you there.
