LOS ANGELES CONFIDENTIAL: What are some of your patients’ primary concerns?
DR. SHERRI WORTH: Because we are all stressed out, acid reflux is a big problem today, and it decays your teeth from the inside out. I’m finding more people want to come in and get their teeth cleaned because they want to stay healthy.
LAC: What are the most popular procedures at your practice?
SW: I’ve done more dental implants in the last three years than I’d done in 15 years because people are stressed and grinding the living daylights out of their teeth, which leads to tooth loss. Our implant procedures are virtually painless and can last the rest of your life.
LAC: Why should someone opt for a professional whitening treatment versus an over-the-counter system?
SW: When we do the procedure in the office, we block out all the gum tissue and isolate the bleach right on the teeth. It takes one hour and is comparable to approximately three weeks of home bleaching.
