Actress, mom and yoga teacher Brenda Strong is taking on women’s infertility issues with her alternative brand of yoga.

Her soothing voice is familiar thanks to her role as narrator Mary Alice Young on Desperate Housewives, but actress Brenda Strong has another passion: The yoga fertility expert wants to help the some 7.3 million women in the US who have sought help getting pregnant. She created Strong Yoga4Fertility based on her own experiences struggling to conceive.

BRENDA STRONG:
Using specific postures and breathing techniques to open the body from the inside out, Strong Yoga4Fertility helps to release tightness in muscle and connective tissue, increase blood flow to reproductive organs and invites the mind and body to facilitate their own healing.


LAC: What results have you seen from your work with women?
BS:
My personal statistics are that up to 75 percent of the women working with me conceive within six months.
