The Museum of Contemporary Art celebrated legendary portrait photographer Annie Leibovitz at its seventh Distinguished Women in the Arts Luncheon in the ballroom of the Beverly Wilshire. Attended by some 500 (mostly) female arts supporters, the daytime event benefiting MOCA’s award-winning arts education programming featured a runway presentation of the Akris Fall 2012 collection, presented by Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills. After a delightful three-course meal, Maria Shriver spoke about her iconic friend Leibovitz, presenting her with MOCA’s award for her talent and contribution to the arts.
