Known for its strong drinks, good DJs and cool crowd, The Dime is the place to be for a great Hollywood scene that manages to be hip without being pretentious. That’s why we asked resident bartender Sunah Bilsted to concoct a drink we’ll be sipping all season long. Her libation is The Bubbly Elf, an apple and spicy-cinnamon combo that goes down smooth and conjures up the feeling of getting cozy by the fire. 442 N. For a winter cocktail to warm your soul, head to Teddy’s at the iconic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, where Melissa Huggins will serve you up her special White Ginger cocktail. “The crisp, authentic taste of the ginger beer matched with the smooth, whitechocolate liqueur makes for a tasty drink,” says Huggins. “And topped with bright red cherries and deep green mint, the cocktail has all the elements of a down-home drink.” 7000 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, 323-466-7000; hollywoodroosevelt.com
