Matthew Morrison
Library Bar at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel
Matthew Morrison is a big fan of bartender Ryan Green’s concoctions at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel’s Library Bar. Green makes great drinks such as the Clove Sour (rye whiskey with cloves, agave nectar, fresh-squeezed lemon juice and egg whites, topped with habanero sassafras bitters he makes from scratch) and the Gin-Gin Mule (Hendrick’s gin with fresh ginger and mint, muddled with lime juice and agave nectar). The Library Bar uses fresh ingredients from the Hollywood Farmers’ Market, which should make you feel better about spending the evening having cocktails. 7000 Hollywood Blvd., LA; thompsonhotels.com
Jon Hamm
Little Dom’s
Jon Hamm goes mad for the delicious specialties at Little Dom’s. His favorites include the rice balls, pizza Margherita and meatball and mozzarella sandwich. Make sure to eat early, so you can be home to catch new episodes of Mad Men, airing Sundays on AMC. 2128 Hillhurst Ave., LA; littledoms.com
Rich Ross
Ammo
When taking a breather from his many responsibilities as The Walt Disney Studios chairman, Rich Ross enjoys a nice dinner at Ammo. His favorite item on the menu is the turkey meatloaf. This scrumptious take on the classic comes with mashed potatoes and sautéed beet greens. With a menu that changes almost daily, Ammo always features the freshest dishes with items that come directly from several local family farms. 1155 N. Highland Ave., LA; ammocafe.com
Kip Williams
Wabi-Sabi
After a long day’s work, director Kip Williams—who is busy filming the sequel to the hit horror film Paranormal Activity —loves to relax with the tuna rolls and iced tea at Wabi-Sabi on Abbot Kinney in Venice. Exposed brick walls and minimalist furniture give the restaurant a downtown feel, even though it’s mere blocks from the beach. 1635 Abbot Kinney Blvd., Venice; wabisabisushi.com
Casey James
Morton’s The Steakhouse
It’s no surprise American Idol’s Casey James loves a good steak—he grew up in Texas, after all. But he loves Morton’s The Steakhouse as much for the wine list as anything else. He is partial to Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons and loves the selection at Morton’s. Try the Beaulieu Vineyard Georges de Latour. 435 S. La Cienega Blvd., LA, and several other LA-area locations; mortons.com
