The famous OC fair commences this weekend with an array of shopping, live concerts, food, rodeos, and amusement rides. As of Friday, the fest runs every Wednesday-Sunday through August 12. “Dosa for SMMoA” Opens

An opening reception (6-8 PM) on Saturday marks the debut of LA-based clothing designer Christina Kim’s pop-up store/photography installation at Santa Monica Museum of Art’s gift shop, Gracie. Kim’s Spring 2012 Dosa designs—kurtas, sundresses, scarves, and house wares—pay homage to the different shades of sky blue Kim photographically captured on a trip to Mexico. Celebrate Bastille Day
