Fall Boots: Cobra Society

Cobra Society boots travel the world before landing at your door.

August 04, 2011

Designer Alex Davis turned a trip to Morocco into a career in fashion. Inspired by her travels, Davis, who is based in LA, created a boot line called Cobra Society that prides itself on chic comfort, warmth and durability. Made from earth-toned Kilim fabrics by female rug artisans in the Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco and vegetable tanned leather from Italy, the boots are then transported to Spain where they undergo the intricate Goodyear Welt method, which allows the hand-sewn soles to naturally mold to the exact shape of the foot. The fall line debuts on Net-a-Porter this month with four styles ($975–$1,195).
